Let’s collage together!

Are you a creative (or creative-adjacent) soul who’s interested in visual arts and/or writing — and may have even dabbled in both on your own — and are now seeking dedicated time, a few tips, and (even more important) connection with like minded-folks to help you express and improve your skills?

If so, we’re the same people.

That’s why we (Terra and Jen) — two friends on opposite coasts with one independent children’s bookstore and a lot of enthusiasm in common —  have teamed up to offer live, in-person (virtual, for now) creative collage sessions that will provide the space, time, inspiration, and community you seek, while simultaneously teaching you some of the techniques we’ve both learned over decades of crafting visual and literary works of art.

What it involves: Themed 90-minute virtual sessions January through April 2025. We’re offering two different times for each, to allow for collaboration across both coasts! Tuesdays 5:30-7 PM EST / 2:30-4 PM PST and 8:30-10 PM EST / 5:30-7 PM PST (see descriptions for dates and themes)

Who it’s ideal for: Collage-curious and experienced experimenters, both. We all learn from each other at every stage in life. So, if this appeals to you at all — even a glimmer — and you’re a trustworthy human willing to share and create space for others, you’re perfect and we welcome you! 

The nitty gritty:
- 90-minute time commitment to virtually plug in to our live collaging sessions (which are not recorded — you being a part of it in real time is part of the magic)
- Scissors, glue sticks, and a few magazines, catalogs, old picture books, etc.
- An open mind and a willingness to share
- $32 per session — $24 if you purchase all four sessions at once!
